Juliet and her Romeo (Michael) tie the knot

This young couples day was full of fun, smiles and love. Bermuda Event Solutions and the Reefs knocked it out of the park as per usual. Wishing this sweet couple all the best. 

Side by side. Hand in hand. Heart to heart.

In November 2015 Jackie and Henry tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at a private home in Tucker's Town, Bermuda. Elegant from start to finish, the happy couple enjoyed a Bermudaful seaside ceremony and partied the night away with friends and family beneath a dreamy marquee. This wedding really was the stuff that dreams are made of!

Just the two of us

Last year, Maxwell & Alyssa married at sunset on the picturesque shores of Cambridge Beaches resort, Bermuda. The Brit and American met half way across the pond in Bermuda to tie the knot. The stunning setting and the romance of it just being the two of them made for a very romantic wedding day. 

The sweetest of sweethearts

Rosie & John are college sweethearts who tied the knot in Bermuda last year. Despite the overcast weather this wedding was a bright and colorful affair with the flowers and bridesmaids dresses echoing the warm coral hues of Bermuda. Rosie looked like perfection in her wedding gown and John was quite the dapper groom with his perfect bow tie. As always, The Reefs provided a gorgeous venue and Emily at Bermuda Event Solutions worked with the couple to create their dream wedding day.

From the land down under

Hannah & Ben are both from Australia, but of all places they met in a pub in New York City. This fun and bubbly couple were surrounded by friends and family for their beautiful day at Cambridge Beaches. Many of whom were teammates from Ben's rugby team. Bermuda offered the ideal setting for a memorable day full of laughter, beauty and love.

A prescription for love

Doctors Tara and Garvey were wed surrounded by friends and family beneath one of the year's most beautiful sunsets. Bermuda Event Solutions planned a picture perfect wedding and as always the Reefs Resort provided a perfect, romantic venue. No doubt this reception was one to remember as shortly after the couple's first dance (before sitting down to dinner), the dance floor erupted in celebration with all of the wedding guests seriously getting down!

The Lumberjack and the Lady

Here is Bermuda going 'thru the trees' is a euphemism for getting married. Recently I had the pleasure of photographing Marc, someone who knows a lot about trees working as an arborist in New York City, and Alison's intimate wedding at the Rosewood Tucker's Point resort. This small wedding was a celebration of love with Alison's two young children playing a special role in the ceremony. 

Sweet as pie

Megan & Anthony travelled to Bermuda's sunny shores from Sweet Home Alabama to tie the knot in a private ceremony. These two are the epitome of Southern charm and their obvious love for one another made it a very romantic occasion. For days after their wedding ceremony I was talking in a Southern accent throwing ya'alls , aim tos and I do declares all over the place.  

Beautiful Brides

There are many decisions for a bride ahead of her big day. From her dress to her shoes, writing her vows to throwing her bouquet most brides have a lot on their minds. But in my experience the best accessory for a bride is happiness, an easy going attitude and love for her partner. Whether formal or shabby chic, shy or outgoing these lovely ladies personified the ideal attributes for a bride on her wedding day.

Whether is be the pink sands of Bermuda, the rocky shoreline of Western Sweden or the tropical beaches of Sri Lanka I've had the pleasure of shooting weddings in all the seaside destinations. Tomorrow evening I have my first beach wedding of the 2015 season at the stunning Reefs resort on Bermuda's South Shore. Time to load up the batteries, slip on my flip flops and get to work.

It's the little things that count

In addition to beautiful portraiture and candid shots of the celebration Bermuda wedding photography is also about the details. From the flowers to the escort cards, the signage to the menu cards it's these sweet little details that make your big day unique.

A touch of vintage class

Having the opportunity to photograph the wedding of good friends is always a treat, but when the couple happen to be oozing with kindness, style and fun it makes it all the more wonderful. Glyn and Ella tied the knot in vintage style a few years back at Hackney Town Hall in London. Ella looked impeccable in her retro peach gown, sparkling fascinator hat and bouquet of white lilies. Glyn struck a very dapper figure indeed, from his sharply tailored suit to his well groomed and considerable beard.
